Learn about printmaking processes and view artists’ prints. Relief printing means to print from a raised surface. Students will executive a rubbing using a wide range of textured materials. Monoprints provide the opportunity to experiment with numerous expressions of an image. A woodcut will get students to cut out an image on a block of wood and make prints at different stages of the process. Edition printing will be explained and students may make multiple prints.
