| After a series of local garden tours and classroom discussions, you'll look at your own property through a landscape designer's eye. Design techniques and plant materials will be discussed in detail. Particular emphasis will be on small gardens. The last class will be an in-class design project. Sue Ellen Commender is a New York Botanical Garden trained designer with over 15 years of experience. The first and last classes will be at Larchmont Temple. The second and third classes will be tours of local gardens.

| Do you have an outdated bathroom that desperately needs to be renovated but you don't know where to start? This class is your answer! We will walk you through the design process in planning your bathroom renovation. We will explore inspirations, create a design direction that reflects your own personal style, choose a color palette and materials, create a realistic budget and gather bids and compare them. This class will help you get the most bang for your buck. Rebeccah Pailes-Friedman has been on the faculty of the Pratt Institute for 12 years and is currently Department Chair of Fashion Design. She is principal of RPF Interiors and specializes in creating beautiful designs for budget-conscious clients.

| Stage Your Home to Sell | Carmela Sirico |
| All homeowners will benefit from this class, especially those who currently own a home and are planning to put it on the market to sell. You will learn clutter removal strategies and where to donate items, key staging techniques including rearranging layouts and whether to make simple repairs such as repainting walls, replacing countertops, floors or carpeting and simple restructuring to kitchens and baths, all while keeping to a limited budget. Enjoy the improvements you make now and reap the economic benefits when you sell. Carmela Sirico is a licensed realtor and a trained staging/organizing professional.

| Green Your Home | Holly Moskow |
| From recycling to using alternative cleaning materials, minor changes at home can add up to real benefits for the planet, not to mention your own family’s health. You’ll learn ways to make your home more energy efficient, reduce household waste by maximizing recycling and backyard composting efforts and limit your exposure to toxins in your home. The course will provide down-to-earth data on why these actions are important along with simple steps and local resources for implementing. Holly Moskow, founder of GoLightly, serves on the board of the Sheldrake Environmental Center and volunteers in local efforts to green the schools and clean-up the coast.

| Basic Flower Arranging | Stephanie Piccone |
| Learn the secrets behind creating floral arrangements that turn flowers from the grocery store or garden into a stunning centerpiece. You'll be taught elements of floral design, how to select appropriate containers and how to care for flowers to achieve long-lasting freshness. The properties and shapes of cut flowers and branches and how to arrange them will be discussed. Don't deny yourself impressive looking but cost effective centerpieces this holiday season. Please bring a bouquet of flowers from the supermarket and snips or scissors. Fee includes cost of supplemental materials and a container to make your arrangement in. Your instructor, Stephanie Piccone, is the owner of Flowers by Stephanie.

| See landscapes through a trained eye and receive a professional evaluation of your property's condition and the potential for renovation. The entire class and landscape designer will visit each home to discuss the existing site conditions and suggest ideas for improvement. Whether you need slight changes or a major renovation, you'll receive advice on design and plant selection. The class runs rain or shine (except in heavy storms). Please bring a notebook. Eleanor Hoffman is a certified landscape designer and garden consultant working in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Class is LIMITED to 6 students.

| Effortless Home Grown Vegetables | Karen Flynn |
| Growing your own vegetables is both fun and rewarding. All you really need is some decent soil and a few plants. But to be a really successful vegetable gardener, and to do it organically, you'll need to understand what it takes to keep your plants healthy and vigorous. In this hands-on course, anyone with a four foot square sunny area can grow summer and cool seasonal vegetables. Master Gardener and Larchmont resident Karen Flynn will provide simple veggie gardening techniques. There is no better time than the fall to plan ahead, so by spring you are enjoying fresh produce from your backyard.
