Dear Student of Continuing Education: :

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Center for Continuing Education, which brings you many and varied courses, has been successfully providing our community with the finest-quality adult education classes for more than forty years. We serve 3,000 adults each year and offer more than 200 courses ranging from Tuscan cooking and salsa dancing to memoir writing, film discussions and language lessons.

As an independent educational organization, we have been self-sustaining with most of our income derived from course fees. Our mission is to serve our community with interesting courses at affordable prices. Although we aim to keep the price of our classes as low as possible, with the rising cost of facilities and teacher salaries, doing so has become increasingly difficult.

To continue to offer top-quality courses at the lowest possible cost, we have established a new charitable fund, The Friends of Continuing Education. For those interested in becoming a Friend of Continuing Education, we offer three degrees of participation: Cum Laude ($50), Summa Cum Laude ($50 - $150) and Magna Cum Laude (over $150).

It's simple to become a Friend, fill out the tear-out registration form at the end of the brochure and mail it back to LMCCE with your tax-decuctible donation. The form allows you to send one check; covering your course fee as well as your Friend donation (however only the donation portion is tax-decuctible).
